Opening Gala Concert: "Mystery of Cello"

Welcome to a celebration of the mysterious and fascinating instrument: the cello.

While able to reach the metaphycics, the cello is also the most human among all musical instruments.

Cello - both in its past and present - is full of mysteries.

From  solo pieces to large cello ensembles, and from classics to the newest  creations, this concert promises to be a wild and rich revelry of the  cello sound, enigmatic in its humanity.

In this  setting where the new meets the old, we are thrilled to bring to the  audience three world premieres by Cecilia Damström, Alisson Kruusmaa and Jean-Baptiste Barrière that will shine their modern light as the  program unfolds.
